This problem was first noted when connecting a myRIO via USB after upgrading to Windows 10 (update 1073), and using cRIO drivers 18.x.
Assuming the myRIO and associated cables etc are known to be good, the problem is most likely due to the USBLAN networks adaptor driver.
Open Device Manager and verify the driver has a problem:
Right-click the adaptor and select properties:
Mta Driver Download For Windows 10 32-bit
Verify the driver is the 'best' by going to the Driver tab and selecting Update Driver. If it is the best', then the driver needs to be replaced as follows:
- Disconnect the USB cable from the myRIO
- Open a file explorer window and navigate to C:WindowsSystem32drivers
- In this window, find usbnet.sys and rename it usbnet2.sys
- Open a second file explorer window and navigate to C:Program Files (x86)National InstrumentsCompactRIOStagingUSBLANWin7amd64
- Copy the file nationalinstrumentsblan.sys from this directory to the drivers directory.
- Rename nationalinstrumentsblan.sys to usbnet.sys
- Reconnect the USB cable to the myRIO
The myRIO should now be accessible via MAX and LabVIEW.
